IGG Treffen Aßlar , Meeting in Aßlar

Hallo Mitglieder Europäischer IGG’s,

unsere IGG Deutschland ist im letzten Jahr 25 Jahre alt geworden !
Wir wollen dieses Jubiläum zusammen mit Euch bei einem gemeinsamen Treffen aller Europäischen IGG’s in diesem Jahr ein wenig feiern.
Natürlich gehören die F-Schlepper mit ihren Schleppmaschinen auch zu unserer Gemeinschaft.☝️ Auch sie sind hier herzlich eingeladen !
Wir laden euch ein zu diesem Treffen, vom  27.-31. August 2025, auf dem  Sportflugplatz in Aßlar, nähe Wetzlar.
Der Flugplatz bietet für unser Treffen eine hervorragende Infrastruktur.
500m vom Platz befindet sich auch ein kleines Hotel mit der Übernachtungsmöglichkeit.
Der Campingbereich am Flugplatz bietet die Möglichkeit viele Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile zu stellen.
Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme am Flugbetrieb wird wahrscheinlich der Deutsche Kenntnis-Nachweis sein.
Wir befinden uns jetzt schon in Gesprächen mit unserem Dachverband DMFV, dem Deutschen Modellfliegerverband.
Dieser DMFV wird zu diesem Treffen mit einem Informationsstand vor Ort sein und im Fall der Fälle den Erwerb dieses Nachweises ermöglichen.
Wir von der IGG Deutschland werden Euch das ganze Jahr über mit weiteren Informationen zu diesem Treffen versorgen !

IGG= Interest group for large rc gliders (and motorized rc towing planes)

Hello member of European IGG’s,

our IGG Germany celebrated its 25th anniversary last year !
This anniversary should be celebrated together with you and so we invite you to join this meeting of all European IGG’s this year.
Surley all rc towing machines and their pilots are also part of this group and are also warmly  invited. ☝️

The meeting will take place from August 27.-31.  on the aero sports airfield in Asslar, close to Wetzlar in Germany.
This airfield offers an excellent infrastructure for our meeting. There is also a small hotel appr. 500m far away from the airfield.
The camping area at the airfield offers the possibility to park many caravans and motorhomes.

A prerequisite for participation in flight operations will probably be the German knowledge certificate ! 
We are already in communication with our organization DMFV, the German Model Aviation Association.
The DMFV will be present at this meeting with an information stand and will make it possible to obtain this certificate if necessary.
We , the IGG Germany, will keep you posted with further information regarding this meeting in the meantime.
